Boulder Farmers Market

Starting from 1986, the Boulder County Farmers Market in Colorado is an outlet for local agricultural producers to showcase and sell their products to the local community and visitors. The 150 vendors and participants of the Boulder Farmers Market include a diverse group of people from backyard garden hobbyists and weekend farmers with small acreage to professional farmers with larger acres. A number of local food establishments are also featured at the market, offering delicious meals, snacks and drinks to visitors. During the Boulder Farmers Market art show which occurs monthly, local artists and their talents are also demonstrated to the public.

The market provides a variety of fresh produce that are locally grown in Colorado, and visitors can choose fruit, vegetable and other produce that has been made by conventional growing techniques or by organic growing methods. Vegetarians and other food-conscious consumers can be comforted by the “organic” labels on many of the market items because they have been grown on farms that are officially certified by the State of Colorado.
