Henry's Farmers Market started in 1943 as a family owned business selling truckloads of fresh, local peaches on a street corner in San Diego. Since then, they have grown to 4 locations and a whole lot more than just peaches! The list of goods you can buy from Henry's includes: fresh, locally grown fruits and veggies; wholesome grains, rice, and pasta, and much more. Henry's even has a full service deli offering up sliced to order cheeses, along with other traditional deli fare.

Henry's is also active in the community. Henry's teams up with Kaiser Permanente to support the Green Machine, a ?field trip on wheels? that travels to elementary schools throughout the year to deliver lessons on agriculture, food cycles and healthy education. They also sponsor a Charity Bike Ride, held in Elk Grove. Proceeds from the event benefit the Community Service Department for Parks and Recreations of Elk Grove.

Interesting fact: Henry's Farmers Market was originally named "Boney's".
